A hurdle that most internet marketing agees face, especially those that work heavily in the social media space, is knowing the correct dimensions that are to be used in Facebook pages and ads. Visual assets play a huge role in attracting attention and developing engagement on Facebook, and knowing the right dimensions for the various channels on Facebook is essential to avoid image pixelation and clumsy image text.

Here is the latest version (updated in March 2017) of our famous Facebook Cheat Sheet. We regularly update this cheat sheet whenever Facebook recommends a new image size for page posts/ads or changes their page structure, so feel free to drop by and refer this graphic anytime.

Facebook updates its image dimensions frequently, and you can use this cheat sheet for quick reference. It has been a great help for our social media marketing team, and I’m sure you’ll find it very useful too. Never guess those dimensions again!


The most recent updates include the change in the design of Facebook business pages and the change in the recommended image dimensions for Event Response ads.
